Kids Heart Challenge

At Rusk Intermediate, we’re all about getting active and making a difference—which is why our Eagles jump headfirst into the Kids Heart Challenge every year! It’s a fun-filled event where students participate in games and activities to raise awareness and funds to help kids with heart disease.

But here’s the real heart-pumper: our top fundraisers earn the ultimate prize — some hilarious (and slightly wild) fun at the expense of Coach D! Past challenges have included:

• Tying up Coach D (all in good spirits, of course)
• Sliming her with gooey, green slime

…and whatever crazy, heart-themed antics our students dream up!

It’s a month full of energy, laughter, and showing that when we work together, we can make a big impact, all while having a blast.

At RIS, we put our heart into helping others… and into keeping Coach D on her toes!
