Grandparents Day at Rusk Intermediate
At Rusk Intermediate, Grandparents Day is one of our favorite ways to say “Thank you” to the special people who’ve always been there to cheer us on, share stories, and spoil us just a little (okay, maybe a lot). Whether we’re hosting fun events at school or sending heartfelt letters home, one thing’s for sure — we make sure our grandparents feel EXTRA special every single time.
Why? Because grandparents are the heart and soul of our community. They’re the keepers of wisdom, the best snack-bringers, and the champions of unconditional love. They’ve helped shape the Eagles we are today, and we want to honor that in a big way.
Sometimes we get together for hugs, smiles, and laughter. Sometimes we send a little note to remind them how much they mean to us. No matter how we celebrate, it’s all about making our grandparents feel appreciated, valued, and truly part of the Rusk Intermediate family.
Grandparents, you’re simply the best — and here at RIS, you always have a special place in our hearts!
